Dogs: that is probably the first thought that comes into the average person’s mind when someone says the phrase “man’s best friend.”
Morgan McNair, a second-year broadcast journalism student at Pierce College, has embarked on a journey to find out how valuable dogs really are to some people.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, McNair’s question is “Can dogs be more than just pets?”
In hopes of finding out the reasons and the psychology behind pet owner’s affection towards their animals, McNair plans on interviewing several of these enthusiastic dog lovers.
Although she might be hesitant to approach some of them, she has found the courage to discover the difference between a typical dog owner versus an atypical dog owner.
