From color to leads

While on the search for someone to write about color, I came across a few interesting people on campus.
They were going about their day and their regular schedules.
After a few interviews, I finally found what I was looking for. Fernando Oleas, the AFT chapter president.
I jotted down as many words as I could while the information just flowed from him. He entangled me with his hand movements and his vast knowledge on prop 30. Clearly this guy meant business! He baffled me with his enthusiasm, he spoke with the determination of a freshman. While the streaks of gray hair hinted at his age.
Once the interview was over, I decided to continue observing others.
I noticed more and more now that my eyes had been tuned into the color I was searching for.
So I look left, then to my right, and out of nowhere Emelyne comes into view!
Impulsively I ran up to her like an excited puppy!
I greet with a huge smile and she returned it right back. We exchange hellos and I dove right into making sure we were still on for next Tuesday’s interview. Emelyne reminded me of her schedule and said she was looking forward to our interview.
I can honestly say that I feel more comfortable about our up coming interview after being on campus interviewing others. I feel more confident and I’m definitely looking forward to the interview as well!
So I guess that is about it from me for now.
Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for more adventures from the news room and campus straight to you, the reader!
