Student to tackle competitive sports rituals

There are a variety of athletes who do different rituals for good luck in competetive tournaments.

In plenty of different cases, sport rituals have been passed down from generation to generation.

It is a great gift to sense that you have a good luck charm while being competitive.

It gives an athlete hope; for example, the Yankees baseball team has a ritual of playing “God Bless America” in every single one of  their games in remembrance of 9/11.

Athletes have different kinds of rituals they do, and it is a very interesting subject.

Kevin Finkelberg, 24, has a huge interest learning about sports rituals.

“I always found it  interesting because I’m a huge fan of baseball and played when I was a kid,” Finkelberg said.

Kevin says he feels that if a team player does a special good luck charm they will play better.
