Tucked away between two office buildings in the parking lot of a medical center, the Bread Crumbs Cafe provides a convenient opportunity for a quick meal to those around. The small restaurant kitchen allows for approximately two people to sit inside and has outside seating for about six.
The smell of baked bread and grilled deli meat fill the air as one steps through the doors.
Two women, wearing a welcoming smile, provide friendly greetings to the customers at the entrance of the establishment. The service is quick and the women were kind.
This cafe’s specialty is the yogurt parfait. They are made fresh daily by hand. With a handful of chopped strawberries on top, two sides of granola with almonds and greek yogurt, this parfait is a mix of sweet and tart flavors that spark in your mouth.
The cafe offers five salad options and 12 sandwiches including vegan, vegetarian and meat options.
Pairing hummus with crisp mixed greens, marinated roasted red peppers and onions, allow for a tang and crunch to complete the hummus veggie sandwich.
Other sandwiches didn’t give off the same satisfying feel after finishing it.
Pastrami and oddly placed roast beef are the staples of the hot pastrami sandwich that was squeezed together with dijon and honey mustard, onions, pickles, and tomatoes. With no flavor from either meat, it is quite difficult to eat because of the overpowering flavor of the honey mustard and the tomato.
