Located on Topanga Canyon Boulevard there’s a family owned restaurant named Rib Ranch. Entering the location, notice the western décor. It gives the feeling of being in an “El Rancho”, with its wooden booths and Terra Cotta tile. There is a special room that has lots of televisions, ranch paraphernalia and even outside seating under umbrellas.

Warm corn muffins that melt in your mouth are brought to the table as you’re seated. For an appetizer the potato skins are a must. Substitute pickles in lieu of bacon bits on the potato skins to get a great kick.

Once your meal is ordered, warm rib ranch barbecue sauce is brought to the table. The tender, moist black angus beef comes with a choice of two sides. Try the garlic mash potatoes and large steak fries.

The restaurant has a kid-friendly environment with a special “wanted for kids” menu including chicken fingers.

For dessert, the peach cobbler is home made and served with a warm scoop of ice cream. The peaches are cooked well, so no need for a knife.

Get your doggie bag ready to save room for the cobbler because there’s more than enough for everybody.
